Sr. Specialist or Manager, Digital Analytics & Operations

Aquent is currently seeking a Digital Analytics & Operations Specialist for a full-time (40.00 hours/week) opportunity with one of our large Non-Profit Organizations, with ability to work REMOTE. The successful candidate will translate business needs to real tagging solutions to drive accurate, insightful and actionable reporting via Google Analytics at one of the nation’s largest humanitarian non-profit organizations. Candidate will leverage expertise in requirements definition and management, analytics tagging, and quality assurance, and excellent communication skills. This position plays an integral role in delivering accurate analytics insights.

Candidate will work with Marketing, SEO, Search Marketing, and Development and IT teams to properly to: serve as enterprise Google Analytics administrator; configure Google Analytics accounts, settings, filters, views; audit sites, compose implementation and/or tagging instructions; set up advanced segments and goals; and assist with performance tracking reports. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with ability to deliver technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up advanced tracking, profiles, goal conversion tracking, and custom filters in Google Analytics to measure, monitor and provide insight into user behavior.
• Provides prompt and accurate responses to client requests regarding site analytics.
• Gathers business requirements for tagging/dashboards by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating cross-functional sessions with customers
• Translates business requirements into functional and technical reporting requirements and uses Google Tag Manager to implement tags
• Provides Google Analytics subject matter expertise, on behalf of enterprise digital marketing, to other business units
• Serves as project manager and manages Google Analytics project relationship with Google: oversee billing, support and all aspects of partnership
• Work with Market Intelligence to provide support in initial set-up of reports and dashboards in Google Analytics for lines of business
• Manage outside tools and plug-ins for Google Analytics
• Pixel Auditing
• Monitors website page loads and traffic for any issues or anomalies
• Provides recommendations on tagging structure and technologies
• Identifies opportunities for improvements and develops process
• Works with corporate Development in creation and updates to corporate microsites, coded and vanity URLs as fundraising channels
• Conducts User Acceptance Testing and QA testing of Google Analytics tracking and corporate microsite test cases, as needed
• Works with internal team members in the creation and support of Google Analytics reports and corporate microsite, URLs and internal campaign implementation
• Researches, monitors and resolves issues and serves as chief enterprise subject matter expert. Deliver thought leadership and recommend tools, metrics, and best practices for the measurement of online marketing campaigns and site traffic.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years of digital marketing analytics and tag management experience
• 3 years minimum experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Google Analytics certification highly desired, at a minimum must have proven experience creating segments, setting up goals, and advanced profile configuration experience to help marketers analyze and better understand user behavior and conversion. This position requires an advanced understanding of web analytics tools -- pathing, tracking code customization, and best practices for implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and time management skills; must enjoy collaborating with designers, online marketers, copywriters, programmers and clients
• Demonstrated experience creating and delivering client presentations relating to site performance and online marketing strategy; this role is client-facing, so applicants must be comfortable presenting ideas and strategies to clients, and thinking on their feet
• General understanding of usability design and conversion optimization design
• Demonstrated resourcefulness to proactively solve problems and get the job done
• Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent organization and time management; Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, sometimes driven by disaster response activities.
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
• Knowledge of Oracle ATG Web Commerce Platform and Atlassian Software Development and Collaboration Tools preferred.

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree required degree in Marketing, Computer Information Systems or related field preferred
