Sr. Specialist, Visual Merchandising – Global

The VM Sr. Specialist, Global is accountable for delivering global visual direction to all markets. He or she will work collaboratively with merchant, marketing, product development and creative teams on visual strategies and execution plans that support the goals of the business and the needs of each market. He or she must have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and be able to interpret appropriate trends as they relate to the beauty industry and the company's brand.

The ideal candidate for this role is both creative and operational, an excellent communicator, self-motivated and customer focused. He or she must be able to simultaneously handle multiple projects, shift gears quickly and flexibly and most of all, be a team player. Problem solving, thinking quickly on one’s feet and interfacing with high-level leadership confidently and positively are also critical in this role. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global VM. 

Primary Responsibilities
 Develop and implement, independently and/or in partnership with Sr. Manager, visual merchandising strategies for all global channels by creating innovative and compelling presentations that support the business objectives
 Responsible for providing global fixture updates and assortment guidance for yearly product launches across boutique and department store channels
 Responsible for prototype fixture ideation, including rendering and development, for monthly core and promotional projects
 Provide direction to fixture vendors during development to ensure assortment accuracy, componentry compliance and die-line precision
 Present and/or support creative concepts reviews as needed to support the global strategies
 Lead the partnership between the global and North America teams, ensuring alignment and cross functional partnership on all global visual strategies
 Manage the creative process and cross functional effort for the NSC and annual corporate meeting
 Engage in store openings, special projects, and corporate events/set-ups as needed
 Collaborate cross functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development and Creative teams

Job Qualifications
 3 - 5 years of corporate visual merchandising experience, preferably in beauty
 Mandatory proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically In-Design, Photoshop and Illustrator) and fluent experience with Microsoft Office
 Strong organizational and time-management skills
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 A creative problem-solver, idea-driven and proactive
 Positive, constructive, self-aware and able to give and receive feedback
 Able to physically set-up product and VM displays, move fixtures and use common household tools
 Professional degree preferred (BA or BS)
