Sr. Social Media Strategist

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is looking for a Sr. Social Media Strategist to support and accelerate Influencer, Marketing and Content strategic initiatives. The right person will have proven experience developing and executing Social Media Strategies for Fortune 500 companies.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Develop, drive, implement and execute Social Media Influencer strategies in support of and in collaboration with Social Marketing, Corporate Communications, Team Members, Social Content /Platforms and other business objectives in close partnership with Enterprise Social Media teams, Lines of Business and business teams
- Research, source, build, manage and nurture influencer relationships/groups/communities in support of strategic initiatives across lines of business and the enterprise
- Evaluate, select and manage influencer management tools/platforms, technologies and vendors as appropriate
- Coordinate integration of influencer strategic planning and execution with other social strategies
- Develop, document, inform, educate and communicate social influencer best practices and guidelines across lines of business and the enterprise
- Lead, manage, develop and document internal guidelines for Team Members’ activities as influencers/spokespersons within Social Media
- Monitor and report on influencer trends and technologies and apply knowledge to develop strategies and tactics to support enterprise and lines of business
- Assist in identification, planning and communication of strategic business, technology, investment and alliance opportunities related to Influencers and UGC based on research and analysis of company goals, direction, audience and competition.
- Proactively monitor, identify and communicate the strategic direction of LOBs, business partners, vendors, platforms and competitors and ensure strategic enterprise social media efforts are in alignment with our client's Vision and Values, Enterprise Marketing and ESM strategies
- Proactively integrate and share strategic insights, best practices and emerging trends on leveraging Social Influence and other strategic initiatives with lines of business, ESM consultants and functional partners
- Actively consult with ESM team members, and provide solid recommendations for their business issues, supporting recommendations with strong rationale and research.
- Measure and report on key performance indicators on influencer and other strategic initiatives

- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Self-starter with an excellent balance of organizational, strategic management and program execution skills to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently and independently in a timely manner
- Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinker with ability to articulate key insights and trends from research and benchmarking data
- Strong communication skills; possess strong leadership presence including ability to effectively present to senior managers throughout the enterprise and influence business outcomes
- Exceptional collaboration skills; cultivates an active network of effective partnerships throughout the organization
- Ability to influence and consult senior leaders in the organization by collaborating with multiple lines of business and working with executive leaders to foster engagement, focus and execution against key initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to leverage and work with enterprise teams to achieve successful execution of initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in product management and/or digital media such as on-line, mobile, and social media

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of strategic planning and / or marketing strategy experience
- Knowledge of social media best practices and industry trends that align with business, marketing, technology, compliance and other relevant processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
