Aquent's client, a large national telecom company has a need for a Contractor to provide the services listed here. This contract is for a 12 month term with the possibility extending for duration of the contract (30 months) based on the needs of the Client and and performance of the worker. This position is FULL time and requires the candidate to be ONSITE in their Basking Ridge, NJ offices. GENERAL SUMMARY
Oversee and manage projects/programs for National Operations strategic initiatives.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages project activities, and directs cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that the requirements written for the business are robust, complete, and functionally comprehensive.
• Tracks, reviews and reports activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified project objectives
• Modifies or changes the approach as required to attain objectives.
• Prepares project/program reports for senior management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of management
• Controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
• Direct and oversee projects that require working with large teams and manage stakeholders
• Ensure the right internal and external resources are appropriately engaged
• Presents updates to VP’s and serves as a member in Governance committees
• Identify and manage risks and issues and resolve resource conflicts
• Provide regular status updates to the Director and project stakeholders about project/program health / metrics / status
• Establish, control and deliver measurable business benefits through the execution of the project
• Establish a project financial framework that ties directly to the organizations strategies
• Use data-driven analysis for prioritization of complex operational trade-offs
• Must be able to read and understand project business cases, and contribute to development
• Establish and manage an ongoing governance structure for the projects
• Rapidly learn current processes and constraints to facilitate the development of the a vision for optimal business processes
• Provide expertise on complex technical projects from concept through the analysis, design and execution stages
• Escalate project issues and drive resolution
• Provide successful stakeholder management
• Must be able to adapt quickly to change in a fast paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree (Business or Technical field)
• PMP certification or project management master degree required
• MSP certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years project management experience
• Minimum 5 years wireless experience
• Demonstrated track record of accomplishments, including successful project launches
• Strong knowledge of Program Management & Project Management practices
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Office
• Expert knowledge of Project Management Institute processes
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Capable of assimilating a broad range of project inputs, and clearly and distinctly communicate overall project status tailored to a variety of audiences, including executive management
• Demonstrated exceptional influence skills, and the ability to influence individuals across all functional organizations and at all levels
• Highly collaborative & able to produce high quality results in high-pressure situations and a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with Senior Executives and Project Team members to define and mange the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of programs and projects
• Strong knowledge of Stage-Gating processes for new product development
• Extremely determined to drive participation, integrate people effectively into teams, work cross-functionally and across multiple levels of management, and to work issues to successful resolution
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a virtual environment
• Strong negotiating, listening and superior interpersonal skills
• Experience in creating and implementing effective communication plans
• Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills
• Ability to use tact, exercise discretion, and display common courtesy to achieve objectives
