Sr Program Manager

We are hiring a Sr. Program Manager for a SF based retail client, responsible for managing end-to-end execution of all marketing programs, from strategic planning stages through creative implementation.

The Sr. Program Manager will also be responsible for directing the activities of one or more project managers and senior project managers within their division. They will interface heavily with marketing, creative visual merchandising, and merchants to assure that the solution is understood and addresses the customer's business requirements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Champions process; identifies means to integrate and improve efficiency between marketing and digital marketing teams
• Partners upstream w/ strategic partners in Marketing/Digital Marketing to communicate strategic milestones and provide executional considerations for brief
• Cultivates strong partnerships with Marketing, Creative, Digital and Visual teams. Clearly and actively communicates requirements, deliverables, timelines and budget status throughout program lifecycle
• Orchestrates execution of marketing programs, managing and integrating across all channels: window animations, print, direct mail, in-store marketing/collateral and digital media
o Digital media experience especially important as position oversees all digital channels including site, mobile and social platforms (?)
o Serves as program expert with an in-depth knowledge of program channels/components: media, usage, delivery formats, etc
• Develops comprehensive schedules and sets/leads interim milestone meetings across all channels/teams, ensuring integration of traditional and digital media touch-points in process. Proactively monitors progress to achieve deadlines and results
• Supervises/manages day-to-day team as well as overall program level campaigns
• Tracks programs to budget; has a good understanding of budget and any co-op funding; facilitates conversation between Creative, Marketing and producer if/when costs impact design &/or budget
• Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 8-10 years experience managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, preferably in a retail or agency environment
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Agency or retail experience preferred
• Effective relationship-building skills; professional savvy and organizational agility to leverage partnerships across the organization to get work done
• Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate solutions/ideas
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in leading/facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve results/push programs forward
• Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities
• Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
