Sr. Production Coordinator - 400078877

The Sr. Production Coordinator will independently produce (small to mid-level) design and production projects for internal communications agency for all brands. Interface with Account Management, Creative and Print Production as well as internal and external resources to ensure execution and on time delivery of all project assignments.

Position Breakdown:
75% working independently on small to mid-level scale projects
25% working in conjunction with Producers/Managers on large scale projects

Key Results

· Project manage assigned projects autonomously and follow through on all aspects of the project from start to finish.
· Communicate with entire project team to develop project plan and schedule in order to ensure on time delivery and maintain constant communication on project status with all team members.
· Maintain projects in department status report and lead status meetings for assigned projects.
· Use established rate card and historical project data to generate estimates and change orders based on client expectations, scope and deliverables outlined in creative brief and discussed in kick-off meeting. Monitor budget throughout project life cycle and communicate budget status to team and identify if additional funds are needed or if project has gone beyond original scope.
· Attend project kick-off meetings. Ensure all materials for meeting are available and ready at start of meeting. Ensure that all project information is communicated to team from client in order to create accurate estimates and schedules based on project scope and client deadlines.
· Interface and maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners as well as outside design/production resources to complete all project deliverables.


· Independently produce small to mid-level branding projects including: consumer and trade advertising materials, collateral programs, promotional/segment-related guides, event and pitch materials
· Generate estimates and maintain budgets
· Develop and communicate timelines, daily milestones, next steps and status to project team
· Revise as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
· Coordinate with Manager and Traffic to prioritize creative team's workload and identify resources needed to complete assignments
· Participate in weekly team meetings
· Coordinate gathering of project assets and distribute to all necessary team members.


· Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, and familiarity with design applications including: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. PowerPoint a plus
· Ability to navigate within a complex corporate structure
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong Attention to detail
· Ability to balance creative excellence, project efficiency, and effective methods of production
· Ability to follow established department workflow guidelines

· B.A./B.S. Marketing, Business, Communications or related field

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

· 4-5 years of Project Management of Creative and Production projects
· Experience in a variety of media including: print production, broadcast, online, retail
· Experience working across cross-functional groups
· Project estimating and scheduling for complex projects
· Knowledge and practice in branding, design and advertising
