Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Seeking Sr. Marketing Product Manager for a large corporation that provides personalized financial-related products and services to small businesses and financial institutions.

**This is a temp-perm opportunity, on-site in greater Minneapolis, 40 hours per week.**

The Seeking Sr. Marketing Product Manager is accountable for developing product value proposition, positioning and messaging for all Financial Services (FS) products (checks, etc.) that enables revenue growth and cross sell. Must develop and maintain a full suite of compelling product and thought leadership content, collateral and sales enablement tools that clearly communicate value propositions through both sales channel and through demand generation campaigns.

Must “speak in the voice of the industry,” and be expert on buyers and buying criteria as well as market and competitive developments. Key interfaces include demand generation, content marketing, strategic communications, sales, and product management.


KEY DUTIES:
• Develop distinctive value propositions for all FS products in collaboration with Product Management leaders that is tailored to address pain points across the customer lifecycle to drive revenue and cross sell
• Understand FS buyers, how they buy, and develop key messages and content that resonates with, and motivates, our buyers and influencers
• Develop messaging for each sales stage cycle by buyer for FS products to drive qualified leads and progress opportunities through the sales funnel. Collaborate closely with Sales leaders for messaging alignment and adoption
• Lead RFP fulfillment for major FS sales opportunities that increases our market share and penetration
• Create robust sales enablement tool kits for client managers and sales executives that are well organized, easy to use and regularly refreshed. Train field teams as necessary and monitor usage
• Tell “Deluxe FS story” to market across all audiences, including the overall FS story as well as each FS customer lifecycle solution, and evolve the story as the solution suite expands via organic and inorganic growth
• Understand and report on economic KPIs of Deluxe products, and incorporate into DLX story and sales enablement tools as a key competitive differentiator
• Set the DLX thought leadership, content and collateral agenda, insuring quality and timely completion. Actively promote and drive utilization across multiple channels and properties


CRITICAL SKILLS:
• B2B product marketing (financial technology preferred)
• Leadership qualities,
• Demonstrated strategic thinking with proven ability to flawlessly execute against tight deadlines and drive multiple projects at once.
• Self-motivated, strong communication, project management and organizational skills. Solid business acumen with a keen sense of urgency.
• Ability to position strategy, communicate objectives and effectively negotiate outcomes with business leaders, vendors and program interfaces.
• A critical architect of the interlock between Product, Sales and Marketing.




DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Masters Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Writing or related
• 7-10 years of related experience
• Experience in the Financial Services industry
• Experience in B2B Marketing environment
• Experience supporting product management or marketing through analysis and project management
• Experience supporting sales force with qualified leads
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com
• Familiarity with Marketo or similar marketing automation platform
