Sr. Product Marketing Manager

The Snr. Product Manager will manage the product lifecycle for software-based products for pharmaceutical distribution, serving as both product manager and product marketer.

-Experience working in healthcare, hospitals, or pharmacy preferred
-Strong understanding of the specialty pharmacy market, trends, and industry landscape

Responsibilities include customer onboarding, product enhancement, sales support (customer collateral, sales training), pricing, adoption and retention including upsell campaigns.

Summary:
• The Sr. Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading product and program development throughout the entire lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and defining the product and program vision.
• Actively manage pre-launch go to market requirements, launch, adoption support, mid-cycle management and exit planning. Many times, products and programs will be incorporated from and/or in conjunction
• Work closely with groups both within and outside of U.S. Pharmaceutical.
• Subject matter expert for their assigned products/programs and support the field sales organization with training, campaign design and execution.
• Make recommendations on product/program goals, as well as monitoring and reporting on product/program metrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work with internal groups to identify, analyze, and implement programs based on customer insight, trend data, and analysis of evolving market conditions. Effectively link consumer insights into tangible, strategic plans and program/product roadmaps.
2. Develop and lead implementation of go-to-market plans to enable achievements of sales and financial objectives. Includes coordinating internal stakeholders to reach decisions on sales process/roles, contracts, pricing, implementation, and launch dates. Prepares value-prop positioning and all related marketing/sales support materials, including FAQs, field communications, sell sheets. Partner with internal groups (Sales Effectiveness, Pharma Analytics, Marketing Communications, and other BUs etc.) to execute. This includes leading the commercialization of new products/programs and working closely with the Segment Operating Committee.
3. Manage the product lifecycle for software-based products, serving as both product manager and product marketer. Responsibilities include customer onboarding, product enhancement, sales support (customer collateral, sales training), pricing, adoption and retention including upsell campaigns.
4. Create product/program specific communication/marketing strategies and messaging as a consistent part of the segment strategy.
5. Effectively monitor and report on assigned product/programs performance including penetration, utilization, and customer feedback.

Minimum Requirements
-8 years of marketing experience; product marketing experience with technical product preferred

Education
-4 year college degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience
- MBA preferred

-Excellent cross-functional team, project and organizational leadership skills with attention to detail
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Effective project management skills, including development of project plans, tactic dependencies, resource allocation and anticipation of hurdles to preemptively address.
- Ability to meet project objectives in a timely and cost effective manner Sound business acumen and analytic skills
-Experience working with a field sales organization
--Ability to work with individuals across the organization and lead through influence, not necessarily through direct reporting structure
-Experience and skilled with facilitating organizational decision making, and delivering presentations and communications to executive management
-Demonstrated success being able to interact with internal and external parties at the highest level
-High level of maturity, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and trust, demonstrated success being able to work collaboratively with small teams, and to work independently

Additional Knowledge & Skills
-Experience working in healthcare, hospitals, or pharmacy preferred
-Strong understanding of the specialty pharmacy market, trends, and industry landscape
-Strong product marketing background
-Experience with SFDC and managing a project budget are desirable.
