Duties
The job holder will lead strategic global brand plans for the client's travoprost portfolio of products including our PGA and PG combo brands. Anticipate market growth opportunities and determine strategic direction of portfolio. Support global commercial leadership for new product initiatives from initial project approval through to market launch. Development and execution of global marketing plans. Support of regional marketing teams with training, promotional material and selling tools. Gain alignment with Regional stakeholders for initiative learning, validation and launch plans. Develop business plans and validate initiatives.
Plan, manage and coordinate the assigned product lines through all facets of marketing, including product development, pricing, promotion, positioning, and forecasting. Create and manage marketing programs and business plans to achieve revenue, profit, and market share goals. Provide technical expertise for questions, issues or requirements; handle complex customer issues. Develop annual marketing A&P budget.
Performance is measured against the attainment of global product market share, line revenue and profit goals

Skills
Analyze market trends and growth drivers (i.e. define the market from customer perspective; analyze market segmentation; identify market and industry dynamics and trends etc.)
Support the Global Director in the management of brand assets to ensure achievement of brand goals.
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing programs across the marketing mix in line with agreed targets and strategies, to support current and incremental business needs. Coordinate the development and sharing of “best in class” marketing mix models for use around the world.
Lead the development of brand campaigns (positioning, idea, concept, claims, key benefit and RTB).
Lead development of eBrand Books to support market launch. Support Agency creative development of materials that enable in-country success.
Work with R&D to leverage technical possibilities and understand technical trade-offs vis a vis market potential.
Partner with R&D and Regions to keep initiatives growing over a 3-5 time horizon. Define lifecycle management claims.

Keywords
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing. MBA preferred.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years marketing experience developing strategic plans to successfully drive growth of multiple products/Brands.
Experience in both the US and other countries. Regional marketing experience would be a plus.
Experience in launching “Blockbuster” Brand(s) in major Market(s) would be optimal, as would previous experience in a Global Marketing role.
A track record of successfully working with R&D
Gate-keeper marketing and/or sales and sales management experience, as well as a sound grasp of the fundamentals of marketing, marketing research, advertising, public relations, sales promotion/strategy development.
Some brand management marketing experience would be optimal.
A strong track record in accurately forecasting/ meeting projected revenue and budget targets.
