General Responsibilities:

Develop and execute product strategy for assigned product lines or significant key product line in order to achieve and maintain product leadership. Conduct market research and analyze market demand. Conduct and review competitive analysis. Define products, analyze requirements, develop and maintain specification documents. Develop tactical marketing plans and prepare related budgets. Develop detailed product features, requirements, and implementation plans. Assume deep product-area or program-level responsibility and/or primarily responsible for relationship with one or more functions and senior executive stakeholders. Accountable for budgeting, reporting, and analysis of assigned products; and may own P&L for assigned products. Provide input into broader strategy, and drive product strategy for own area of responsibility. Make resource and budget choices between projects, and build versus buy. Work cross-functionally to implement changes to assigned product(s). Serve as an expert resource to other Product Managers. This particular Brand is one of the leading corporate travel management companies in the world and part of the Client's family of brands. We are looking for a talented Sr. Product Manager to join the product team to drive core components of Client's new global platform (Fusion - North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific). You will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of product priorities, competitive pressures, and market opportunities. In this role, you drive the product strategy and management for the core components of The Brand's global platform (Fusion). You will be working with a cross-functional team in supply, technology, design, marketing, sales, and customer service. The role involves interaction with other global product managers, our senior product and technology leadership team and global customers and has the opportunity to grow in our organization.

Key Responsibilities At a high level, initial focus will be on driving the product vision, defining requirements and launching a Global Email & Approval workflow to bring innovation, consistency and flexibility to customers in 20+ countries around the world. Your vision will help the Brand unleash the power of personalization. Your creativity will deliver a user experience that makes managing a global business travel program easy and intuitive.

The Product & Global Marketing team is looking for a leader to build and drive our product and services globally.
Ideal experience and competencies for success
• Building the product vision and offering for the Brand's core services, specifically company and user web services. Understand the product's competitive landscape and our competitors' strategies and product features. Apply your knowledge to develop differentiated product plans which drive value to our customers and prospects
• Build the roadmap, product scenarios, user stories, and features backlog for our itinerary product. To do so, the Senior Manager will need to engage and collaborate with our teams and customers and build a strong prioritization based on impact on the market
• Be the product owner in a fast-paced agile team, working closely with the technology and business teams to ensure successful launch of new products to market. You will work closely with the designers and UX team to build a modern and delightful product
• Leverage best practices and technology from Expedia Inc, by engaging closely with product leaders across The Client's various brands
• Work closely with global marketing leaders to launch new products to market
• A solid track record of delivering innovative technology products, with successful adoption in the market: You have delivered products to market with success, based on a solid understanding of your customers and the products that would serve them. You embrace creativity and you know how to apply it into products. You're passionate about travel and have many ideas to transform the business travel experience.
• Ability to work in a complex, diverse and changing environment. We are looking for a person who is energized by maintaining focus on key business goals, is very structured and execute on a plan with constrained resources.
• Demonstrated experience managing products across front, mid and back office. The core services of our platform are shaped by the product's architecture, so you need to understand how the product is structured and the flows.
• Good experience in the travel industry is a plus. While there will be great technical resources for you to work with, you need to understand the complexities of travel management and how it relates to the rest of the architecture: other front-office and back-end flows and systems. If you haven't worked in the air or travel industry before, you'll need to show previous experience ramping up and mastering a complex domain.
• Bachelor's degree required, an MBA a plus.
