Sr. Paid Search Manager

This position requires an in-depth understanding of SEM best practices and a proven track record of exceptional ROI performance from SEM campaign management. The right candidate will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing and analyzing search engine marketing (SEM) activities -- primarily paid search/pay-per-click (PPC) as well as some organic search engine optimization (SEO) activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
• Identify and report on key performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement on a regular basis.
• Identifying and resolving issues with JavaScript, Flash, CSS, etc.
• Site design recommendations.
• Navigation and conversion analysis.
• Manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.
• Manage basic display advertising on platforms such as Google Ad Network and contribute substantively to the digital innovation of the marketing unit as a whole.
• Grow and optimize the keyword portfolio through testing (A/B and Multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative key-wording, etc. 


• Act as point of contact for vendor communication, data analysis, optimizing, bid optimization decisions, management of product feed based search listings, and overall work with the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager and Design & Production teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming - Communication is Key!


QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS required; Marketing, Business, or Finance degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience managing paid, natural search, and display advertising programs for well-established brands.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
