Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Marketing, Online Programs will be responsible for managing the day-to-day marketing operations for lead generation and membership programs, in addition to supporting its overall audience development and social media initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic promotional campaigns using email, social media, event marketing, direct mail, web marketing, and other channels to achieve specific online lead generation campaign goals and deadlines while adhering to budget. In addition, the position will be responsible for managing marketing outreach programs to the paid membership base. The position will also provide support for growing our database through marketing outreach initiatives and help manage our day-to-day social media initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

Online Lead Generation
• Create and implement creative cost-effective integrated marketing programs to meet lead generation targets.
• Develop marketing creative, including copy and HTML emails.
• Create, maintain, and monitor promotion analytics.
• Be the liaison for internal service providers customer database, email broadcasting, analytics, marketing/creative, and other related services.
• Be part of the cross-functional team responsible for continuing to evolve our digital presence.
• Perform other duties as assigned, directed or requested.

Membership
• Create and implement integrated marketing programs to meet membership goals.
• Develop marketing creative, including copy and HTML emails.
• Utilize a Membership Database and analytics solutions to develop behavior-based marketing campaigns.
• Be the liaison for internal service providers and external vendors who support membership services.
• Work with cross-functional team members to evolve our membership base.

Audience Development
• Develop marketing and lead generation campaigns from new sources that continue to build the internal database (email, online affiliates, telemarketing, social media)
• Develop marketing creative, including copy and HTML emails
• Evaluate the effectiveness of these campaigns and refine accordingly


Social Media
• Serve as point person for managing the overall social media strategy
• Manage the day-to-day creation and implementation of social media campaigns
• Use social media to support the three objectives above – online lead generation, growth of membership and audience development
• Measure and refine social media campaigns based on analytics


Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or a related field
• 5+ years of email marketing, direct marketing and online marketing
• B2B marketing experience strongly preferred
• Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Strong statistical marketing and modeling skills in targeting, testing, analysis and segmentation
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with web analytics and HTML
• Excellent copywriting skills
