Sr Motion Graphics Designer

A top tech company has an exciting and rare opportunity for a senior motion graphics designer. This is a contract role which will lead to perm for the right person! The candidate will be primarily responsible for motion graphics creation, production, and post-production editing for the company's marketing video projects. They will work with the Multimedia Director and marketing team to create engaging multimedia content. This position includes videography, hands-on motion graphics design and execution and post-production editing and mastering.


· Managing and owning motion graphics videos soup-to-nuts, including some ideation, storyboarding, and then directly executing, managing, and completing entire projects in an efficient, timely fashion on tight deadline.

· Compositing multiple assets (art and live action) into engaging multimedia storylines, utilizing third-party art and video, as well as creating original video, art and motion graphics, in keeping with company brand guidelines and templates.

· Production and videography work, including setting up lights, audio, cameras and operating camera, teleprompter and audio equipment during shoots both in studio and in the field.

· Photographing and managing professional employee headshots.


· 5+ years hands-on experience in creating and executing motion graphics packages, soup-to-nuts in a “one-man-band” fashion in corporate environments.

· Versatile and creative production powerhouse, with motion graphics default setting, but also a strong passion for all aspects of production and post-production.

· Expert knowledge of Adobe Master Collection in the Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.

· Ability to animate in 3D environment.

· Extremely advanced technical expertise in all aspects of post-production workflow, including best practices for data management/DAMS, Apple MacPro and related hardware, and ancillary technical software related to post-production encoding, compressing, and publishing.

· College degree in video, new media, motion graphics, visual effects, or related field.
