Sr. Marketing Specialist

Great long term contract opportunity for someone with Medicare/Medicaid knowledge to be part of a dynamic team in an organization working to improve the health and well being of it's and their client's employees.

In this role you will help to design, develop, and implement member engagement communications and campaigns for external clients

You will represent the voice of the clients to the rest of the organization, working to ensure the experience a client has with a program or service is targeted and optimized around a their unique preferences

Responsibilities Include:

• Partner with sales and account teams to deliver marketing and communications strategies

• Consult with product development colleagues on product specifications such as design, messaging, and delivery

• Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing communications strategies for clients, based on knowledge of client objectives and other factors

• Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities to promote products and solutions to members, working with internal and external creative resources

• Measure the effectiveness of marketing communications programs and engagement strategies

• Develop pricing strategies for client support, balancing internal objectives and customer satisfaction

• Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings

• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing strategy manager and other stakeholders

• Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and habits & practices to identify potential factors affecting engagement


• Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, or healthcare administration

• 5 years of experience, preferably in the health or related industry in marketing communications or advertising work

• Strong communication skills – written, oral, and interpersonal; ability to present information and strategies to internal and external (client) audiences

• Multi-channel marketing and communications experience, including development of integrated marketing plans

• Ability to build and manage strong relationships with internal and external customers

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment; demonstrated team, project, and workflow management skill set

• Experience with/knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid
