Sr Marketing Mgr - Finance

We have two openings within this group with the first being an emphasis on DIGITAL MARKETING and the second DIGITAL MARKETING+FINANCE background, agency a huge PLUS!


Primary product area of focus will be Rewards Card driven partnerships with our finance partners. Purview will be end to end digital marketing planning for these partnerships across all digital marketing channels.


Job Summary and Mission
This position contributes to Starbucks success by creating and managing integrated go-to-market strategies that reinforce and build brand equity. Specifically, this role is responsible for leading digital strategy and execution across our brand, campaign and promotional efforts. This role works with category managers in Seattle, as well as with media/creative agencies nationwide.This role will drive big-picture cross-channel digital and social plans while also assuring work is executed flawlessly against the strategy. In addition, this role synthesizes insights and business objectives and elicits great ideas from creative teams and agencies to further drive great work. .

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Leadership - Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together:
- Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results
- Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company.
- Builds and maintains relationships with strategic industry and cross-functional partners.
- Leads discussions and presentations with cross-functional senior leadership teams.
Planning and Execution - Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results:
- Prepares, communicates and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization
- Plans and manages business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.
- Creates and manages digital campaign strategy, including oversight of execution
- Works with internal and third party vendors to continuously measure, test and learn. Lead the process of setting up measurement and driving ongoing learnings.
Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:
- Builds digital marketing plans focused on delivering key business objectives.
- Develops effective digital strategies to drive awareness and customer engagement
- Ensures individual promotional activities continually are leveraging digital marketing to its full capacity and are highly efficient, engaging and meaningful to both consumers and the Brand.
- Assures campaign strategies and tactics will be engaging and effective in digital/social channels while maintaining brand integrity. .
Partner Development & Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams:
- Challenges and inspires team members to achieve business results.
- Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.
- Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
- Oversees training and development of partners directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.
- Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partners, business and customer results

Summary of Experience Years
- Creating and driving digital initiatives that reinforce or build brand equity for integrated, multichannel promotions and programs and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of competitive landscape to help build relevant strategies in accordance with overall digital strategy and successful track record managing large-scale digital campaign programs.
- Strong knowledge of digital channels and how they can help drive consumer behavior and impact the business.
- Brand or product management expereince with complex budget responsibility.
- Experienced in Agency management and in driving and inspiring innovative creative across all digital platforms.
- Ability to adapt insights into relevant consumer-facing digital strategies and activations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate a point of view.
- Experience leading digital channel, technology, creative, and media plans from strategy through execution.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of digital analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
