Sr. Marketing Manager, Online Marketing (SEO & New Media)

Well respected non-profit in DC has an immediate long term contract need (6+ months) for a Senior Manager, (SEO & New Media) to sit on-site in their Washington, DC office.

This role is responsible for developing and managing all elements of SEO strategy from concept to execution. This Senior Manager will also manage New & Social media campaigns, seeking out new media vendors and managing current sponsored links and video view campaigns, along with other online marketing duties as needed. The Senior Manager, SEO & New Media will be accountable for developing strategies and implementing tactics to meet or exceed traffic and action goals.

Responsibilities:
* Be the internal SEO expert.
* Build systems and protocols internally that ensure all content is optimized across all platforms and user experiences (websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, retail portals etc)
* Provide insights and recommendations of content to Audience Engagement team for promotional consideration in internal and external vehicles.
* Develop SEO roadmap and identify and implement strategies and tactics for increasing organic traffic
* Conduct keyword research using Wordtracker, Google and internal tools and recommend SEO opportunities based on keyword research and internal tools.
* Develop and implement marketing plans using Social and New Media that will drive traffic and actions.
* Interpret Web analytics data for performance improvement.
* Manage creative and media agencies.
