Our client, a Top-tier high-tech company in Plano, is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to help launch a new product! This is a 6 month contract opportunity (potential contract-to-hire for the right person!)

The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for our client’s new product offerings. Looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join the team and revolutionize the way we market and do business with accounting professionals.

Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager for New Products, this role will be responsible for launching one of our very highly visible new products. The position will be based in Plano, Texas, but you will work cross functionally with partners located across many of our sites, including Mountain View, CA and San Diego, CA.
Focusing primarily on launching a high-potential new product to existing customers, you’ll collaborate with product management, sales, finance and other marketing partners to lead the strategy and execution of this product launch, including messaging, pricing and new customer acquisition efforts. As a key driver of the business, you’ll be required to effectively communicate to Senior Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Insight: Uncover deep customer insights that lead to better offerings and ways of marketing/messaging our offerings. Help steer this exciting new idea through the development pipeline by sizing the opportunity, positioning it and launching it in the most compelling way to ensure it resonates and wins in the marketplace
• Innovate: Develop innovative, customer-driven strategic and tactical marketing programs that lead to significantly better business outcomes
➢ Hypothesis-driven strategic marketing plans with measurable outcomes
➢ New pricing, promotional offers and/or business models that drive growth
➢ Messaging that focuses on the customer benefit
➢ New channels to communicate & engage with customers, including social & mobile
• Iterate: Embrace experimentation and learning from customers with frequent, rapid testing of core elements of marketing. Develop learning plans and demonstrate how continuous improvement leads to outstanding results for customers and the business.
• Collaborate: Work closely with key cross-functional partners in product management, marketing, sales, finance and support in order to develop, execute and manage retention and attach marketing programs to existing tax customers
• Drive for Results: Assume leadership role for meeting the objectives/goals for your offering
➢ Oversee customer base, revenue and expense forecasting and budgeting
➢ Monitor how business is performing with full understanding of root cause
➢ Define critical priorities and opportunities to improve
➢ Drive necessary operating mechanisms to gain shared vision with partners on goals, priorities, actions, etc.
➢ Effectively communicate “the story” to Senior Leadership

Your Talents: The ideal candidate will possess a strong marketing background with a proven track record in successfully managing product brands, including launching new products. They will have acute business acumen having worked in B2B, consulting and/or the software industry with additional experience in pricing and/or innovative business modeling. Plus,
• 6-10 years of marketing experience and 2-3 years of revenue ownership
• Displayed accountability for results with skills leveraging analytics and partners to understand business situations and react accordingly
• Strategic thinking with experience framing and solving complex problems
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small to large project teams, influence others and make sound decisions decisively based on data or insights
• Deep understanding of what it means to be customer-focused; demonstrated track record of discovering key customer insights and then creating innovative plans, programs or offerings to overcome barrier beliefs all in service to customer delight
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the talent to tell a story concisely and support with complementary powerpoint slides
• Experience in traditional and non-traditional marketing channels to create awareness and drive conversions
• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree with MBA preferred

• This is a 6 month, full-time, W-2 contract position located in Plano, TX
• This position is not eligible for telecommute or offsite work
