Primary Job Description:
The Senior Manager Marketing Communications is responsible for creating innovative, measurable online marketing campaigns and optimizing campaigns to generate qualified sales leads for all eBay Enterprise businesses. This individual has proven experience with B2B demand generation marketing and a strong command of marketing automation systems (such as Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua) as well as Salesforce.com.

Looking for a hands-on, creative and detail oriented individual that will take projects from concept to implementation, work within the guidelines of the team’s marketing plans, work closely with the sales teams, and have a proven track record of simultaneously managing and delivering multiple, successful inbound and outbound, demand generation campaigns. The Sr. Manager Demand Generation must be a strategic thinker, problem solver and well-rounded marketer with a strong customer focus. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively sales and other departments. This positions reports to the CMO.

Job Responsibilities:
• Create, produce and execute a Demand Generation Plan to include email marketing, nurture programs, lead gen forms, webinars, and live events.
• Develop and execute inbound marketing, demand generation, lead management and automated digital marketing programs to drive lead conversion and ultimately new business acquisition
• Manage the performance and effectiveness of all marketing programs and lead generation campaigns including lead scoring and lead nurturing programs
• Define and build a marketing automation infrastructure and functional competency, implementing best practices, including guidelines for emails, landing pages, campaigns etc.
• Collaborate with sales enablement team on database management – segmentation, list acquisition/import, data cleansing, event capture, lead management etc.
• Implement testing methodologies (e.g. A/B and multivariate testing) on all elements of the digital marketing mix to improve conversion rates (content, email templates, landing pages, offers, etc.) to optimize campaign results
• Campaign development and communications, project management of all execution steps, contributions and editing of content, and measurement and reporting of results are all within the scope of this role.
• Use of technology tools such as email marketing / automation, online conferencing, and CRM (Salesforce.com) will all be used for program execution.
• Coordinate Demand Generation Plan with rest of marketing team to create campaigns and messaging that carry across all activities.
• Direct development of relevant information, branding, and email marketing templates for sales department for use in outbound sales development.
• Monitor and report on campaign results and general website visitor traffic, trends, experience and conversions using Google Analytics and marketing automation tool.



Experience
At least 8 years of relevant experience in a B2B technology marketing and communications environment with superior strategic, communications, writing, editing and proofreading skills. Must enjoy working in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace.

Basic Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be a meticulous planner, highly organized, metrics-driven and have strong writing skills. A grasp of B2B online marketing tactics and marketing automation tools is required. Additionally, you will have a competitive attitude, creativity and resourcefulness, a positive team spirit, and an unbridled determination to succeed. More specific requirements include:
• 3-5 years' hands-on B2B experience in inbound and demand generation marketing (lead generation and nurturing, marketing campaign execution and measurement)
• 3 years hands-on, demonstrable experience and proficiency with marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Marketo or the like) and CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment; work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; and ensure high quality deliverables (attention to detail)
• Strong analytical skills, with keen approach to problem-solving
• Good communication and writing skills
• Always innovating – never satisfied with the status quo
• Precise and detail-oriented, but also creative, passionate, and hands-on
• Bachelor's in business, engineering, or marketing ability and desire to learn new technical information quickly
• Experience with ecommerce or marketing technology is a strong plus
