Our client, a Fortune 500 company located in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications. This individual will be primarily responsible for defining, developing, executing and managing proactive internal communications programs to ensure strategic communications of business priorities. The position entails defining a communications strategy and cadence, developing the content and identifying delivery methods.

We seek a seasoned communication practitioner that is a self-starter, has a proven ability to define internal communications strategy that positively impacts the business, and is a team player committed to building a best-in-class communications program. Experience with and understanding of internal communications best practices and methodologies is required.

Primary Responsibilities
• Support company position as a key technology leader and innovator by shaping the communication and discussion with employees
• Define strategy and develop communications plans that support our business priorities
• Develop communication vehicles and executive messaging that ensure employees are apprised of business priorities
• Serve as the main source for internal communications needs and dissemination
• Work closely with internal and marketing teams to contribute to integrated programs
• Benchmark and measure the success of communications programs and initiatives
• Establish and ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements

Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or journalism
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the communications field with experience in internal communications
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing internal communications programs
• Outstanding writing and editing skills
• Confidence to counsel company leaders and team members on communications strategy
