Sr. Manager of Digital Advertising

A Contract-to-Hire opportunity is available at one of our valued financial service/investment client. The role of Sr. Manager, Digital Advertising will be responsible for the creation, implementation and optimization of digital advertising, including media, both display and search, and creative development. Directly or indirectly, this role will manage resources, functions, processes and staff supporting multiple business units and company-wide functional disciplines. This position will participate in business unit and marketing strategy planning, provide subject matter expertise to the company and is responsible for driving results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Direct external digital display media agency as well as search agency on creative development and execution and direct external agency on bid strategy, spend levels, CPA performance
• Drive digital innovation to maximize account generation and ensure that the corporate remains ahead of the curve
• Manage creative development of all digital assets (Flash, Rich Media, Buttons, Landing Pages and Microsites)
• Need to possess the ability to translate internal strategy briefs into creative input briefs for the agency. Oversee the creative development process, working closely with the offline and e-Marketing teams to ensure alignment
• Convey strategies to the Search agency and manage their ongoing work to grow and optimize campaigns. Advise agency on key initiatives and shifting priorities. Work with analytics lead and e-Marketing to execute ongoing testing.
• Management and talent development of direct reports
• Foster strong relationships with key partners throughout the organization including: advertising and brand management, retail marketing and business leads


REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors Degree required, Graduate Degree preferred
• 10 + years of experience in marketing/advertising either as a client or in an advertising agency with minimum 5 years with Digital as primary focus. Financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of digital media with a deep understanding of digital DR and Search. Ideally this person has managed the buying/planning of digital media on a large-scale either as a client or in an agency that served large, national B-to-C brands.
• Managed the strategy, development and execution of digital display creative and web site development.
• Significant exposure to Paid Search Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
