We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager Retail Development candidate to join our Consumer Products organization and lead efforts around building our footprint at key accounts in order to position the business for growth outside of the mass market. This individual will assist in driving the development and strategic direction to build the softlines business, including building critical relationships at key retailers, including Kohl's, JCP, Macy's, etc. in order to ensure consistent placement of our clients Brands. This role reports into and will support and help drive the strategic direction mapped out by the Sr. Director Licensing.Key

Responsibilities:• Leadership: Act as a strategic leader, representing the Consumer Products organization and business with both internal and external key stakeholders while providing influence around the account• Business Planning: Responsible for assisting with building the softlines business strategy, and managing the execution all the way through the tactics, to achieve/support organizational objectives for market share, volume, revenue, operating income and brand awareness.• Marketing Strategy: Coordinate, develop and execute compelling and innovative category and cross category retailer promotions that drive profitable sales and enhance brand equity. Manage complex marketing programs that cross multiple business segments, franchises and multiple marketing vehicles (in-store, online, social, PR). Account Management: Build outstanding retail partnerships to optimize the Consumer Products business across key softlines categories, including apparel, accessories, footwear, bags, etc.

Skills: A minimum of 7 years (or 9 years, without completed college degree) experience in a retail business development, sales, marketing/category management or customer marketing role.• Prior experience with key softlines categories• An outstanding personal brand and track record of building successful and solid relationships with licensees, retail buyers, etc. within the industry.• Proven presentations skills with executive presence and leadership• Proven track record of developing and presenting a compelling marketing strategy and content presentation at a buyer/marketing manager level meeting• Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence strategy and decision making• Ability to effectively manage projects in a fast paced team environment• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
