Sr Manager Global Promotions & Partnerships | WAND Req#: 4266397

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager Global Promotions to drive the development of a long-term strategy that creates a consistent plan for global and market-level promotional partnerships. This individual will create new programs with business partners, along with co-branding opportunities that leverage channels/categories and provide opportunities for the business to reach and engage new and key audiences and consumers. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop the strategy and platforms to create a consistent and long-term plan for global and market-level promotional partnerships, including a cross-functional team (legal, finance, Marcom, CP Creative, Global Brand Team) to evaluate new partnership requests.
• Oversee and ensure effective execution of core global partnerships while supporting the teams at a local level to ensure consistency of messaging and premium development and execution.
• Develop executive-level reports and recommendations on promotional programs based on effectiveness.
• Support local markets with partnership negotiations to deliver the most value and ensure effective ways to measure success.
• Develop and manage a three-to-five year strategy focused on providing the most value for the organization for its ratio of revenue earned, time spent and value gained for the brands
• Lead and enhance promotional initiatives to engage consumers in new categories and channels.
• Create new programs at a global, local or regional level in promotional partnerships with potential business partners and co-branding opportunities that leverage channels/categories and provide measurable ways for Marketing and Sales to effectively reach and engage its key audiences and build relationships.
• Ensure all activities are tied to an integrated marketing communications plan, partnering with internal global Brand teams, Marketing communications, Digital, PR, Social and other Marketing and Business functions.
• Ensure development of tools and processes to track activities (contracts, premium development, Marketing communications materials) and oversee program evaluations, reports, budget and other departmental functions.
• Represent the organization externally in developing new partnerships and executing contracts
• Remain committed to find new ways to drive efficiency within existing programs and make recommendations to improve long-standing practices.
Skills:
5+ years of applicable work experience in global sponsorships/events/promotions is required, along with strategic evaluation and recommendation abilities.
• Experience within the consumer package goods, marketing/communications, business/education, financial services and/or research space is required.
• Agency business development experience is a plus, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop and negotiate partnerships, promotions and sponsorships for our clients portfolio of brands.
• S/he must be able to operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization and work with a team of professionals at a distance and must be comfortable with creating vision, selling new ideas and gaining alignment and approval from internal partners.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA is a plus
