Sr. Manager, Digital Products - 3928606

Our client is seeking a Sr. Manager of Digital Products & Apps to join the team on a contract basis. The Sr. Manager of Digital Products & Apps will be responsible for managing the planning, production, and delivery of digital apps, assets and products for the company's preschool entertainment properties.  The role will work closely with brand and marketing teams, the toy team, broadcasting partners, and other departments.  

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationship with Global Brand Team to develop digital product roadmap and strategies
• Responsible for all aspects of bringing the company's digital products to market, including entire production lifecycle of assigned products and apps
• Work closely with Digital Studios and technology vendors to manage delivery and quality of products
• Drives the product vision during all aspects of the development process, including:  ensuring brand relevance, project timelines, budgets, production, assets, approvals, and resource and vendor management
• Maintain strong understanding of business and emerging trends to identify and develop new opportunities for apps and digital products
• Develop digital product strategies to drive revenue and reach
• Identify new vendors and technologies that can efficiently and effectively enhance digital products
• Develops and monitors key product metrics to ensure performance

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience in related business
• 8+ years of project management skills overseeing full project lifecycle projects
• Experience working in a highly cross functional environment (sales, marketing, IT, legal, operations, creative) and driving inter-departmental decisions
• Excellent client and vendor relationship management skills; flexible, and adept at working in larger matrixed organizations
• Self-directed, detail oriented problem solver with big picture orientation
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, manage scope, budget and resources to meet assigned deadlines
• Creative enthusiasm and passion for the online medium and digital media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of analytics best practices is a plus
