Sr Manager, Campaign Management

Our client, a Fortune 500 creative design software client, is looking for an experienced Campaign Manager to develop, oversee and execute top-notch customer acquisition and retention strategies and programs.

Position Summary
This individual will help develop and drive worldwide integrated marketing plans, programs and processes, including marketing mix allocation, content development and budget and metrics management.

He/She must understand the customer needs and buying behaviors of direct, third-party and ecommerce routes-to-purchase. He/she must understand the value of the various marketing mix components and how to apply them so as to meet the marketing campaign objectives, especially within the digital/web marketing arena. This person must coordinate and align efforts across the extended marketing team, including the product marketing team and field and functional marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Campaign Group Manager in the development and delivery of the key campaign programs, including program strategy, marketing mix, themes and appropriate metrics.
• Oversee the development of digital marketing plans that promote business objectives.
• Provide direction for the right mix of activities needed for acquiring, retaining and up-selling customers and extending our customers’ life-time value.
• Be the program single-point-of-contact across the extended marketing team (GMO, Product Marketing, Sales).
• Determine global program variable marketing budget prioritization and investment, including optimum marketing mix allocation to meet campaign objectives.
• Act as primary interface with field-based Campaign Marketing counterparts to determine optimum regional spend allocations and appropriate marketing mix needed to meet regional plan components.
• Coordinate monitoring, measurement, reporting and optimization with Campaign Effectiveness.
• Maintain product and segment domain expertise.

Knowledge & Skills:
The successful candidate will be an out-of-the-box thinker who can develop and execute integrated campaigns (from global launch to segment niche) yet add new and unique approaches that make an impact. He/she should be able to effectively present plans and ideas to a broad range of individuals and gain support for same.
Proven results-oriented experience with online marketing and web experience required. Established track-record of success in customer acquisition and retention, including revenue generation with dedicated campaigns in a competitive consumer market is a must. Experience setting success metrics, analyzing and reporting the results to leverage continued improvement across all media (email, web metrics, channel, retail) in close cooperation with Corporate and Field Marketing.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of product/solution marketing in the commercial or enterprise markets with specific emphasis on outbound digital marketing with technology-based products.

• This is a 12 month, full-time, onsite, W-2 contract position located in San Jose or San Francisco, CA
