Sr. Manager - In Store Marketing

Our client is looking for a Sr. Manager - In Store Marketing with the following experience:

At least seven years of related work experience required. Minimum five years work experience in visual design or retail merchandising required.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required. Degree in retail field preferred.
Regular attendance required. Position will require minimal overnight travel.

• Responsible for managing multiple projects and process improvement initiatives for large format visuals and price items signage for large retailer.
• Inspire creativity by leveraging experience and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Continual strive to improve customer in store experience.
• Strong understanding and experience of in store merchandising and marketing with ability to execute marketing initiatives within a store environment while understanding and leveraging operational resources.
• Knowledge and/or experience with variable data sign programs.
• Strong people management and leadership skills. Ability to navigate organization and create partnerships at all levels.
• Lead and motivate others, lead with integrity.
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously and be resourceful under pressure.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Experienced in budget planning and management.
• Strong technical skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work and Power Point a must.
• Experience with planograms, floor plans, and reading CAD drawings required.
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as, have the ability to interface effectively with employees and customers of all levels.
• Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers individually and on group projects, contribute and accept constructive criticism.
• Excellent grammar, spelling and organizational skills.
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
• Manage team of Senior Marketing Coordinators responsible for planning, coordination and execution of core visuals and daily interaction, with Merchants, Store Operations, Space Planning and Store Design.
• Plan and achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommending strategic solutions.
• Work hand-in-hand with merchandising divisions to incorporate goals and objectives and drive sales with innovative and cost effective visual solutions.
• Develop and manage annual, monthly and project specific budgets.
• Create strong partnership with Purchasing team to work succinctly with the ordering and distribution of all store visual signage for all store locations.
• Coordinate with the fixtures buying team and the visual planners on all visuals ordered and expenses incurred, tests and future initiatives.
• Develop open communication with internal customers and external print vendors for large signage.
• Hire, mentor, train and evaluate team.
