Sr. Visual designer needed for great tech company in the Boston company! Our client is looking for a lead visual designer to create a compelling visual experiences. This role is part of the User Experience (UX) team, you will be working directly with their interaction designers, product managers, and front-end developers to define the user experience and visual design for the entire client’s product suite, including mobile, web, and desktop clients.

We are looking for someone one that has a portfolio with fantastic use of color palettes, typography, UI layout, and iconography. You will play a key role in shaping creative direction and ensuring consistency across the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering team to develop UI design approaches that meet business goals and satisfy user experience needs

• Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients appropriately to
create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs.

• Create sketches and prototypes to communicate design concepts to the extended team

• Work closely with interaction designers and developers to integrate visual and interaction design into final product

• follow current design trends

• Lead Jr. Designers to create and implement visually stunning, smart interfaces

MUST HAVE:

• experience with web-based and mobile software applications and know the ins and outs of CS6

• Demonstrated design style and conceptual skills with strong online portfolio

• Exceptional ability in graphic design, layout, color, iconography, typography, and grid-based composition

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Understanding and ability to produce visual assets for all appropriate file types/screen resolutions


HUGE PLUS:

• some knowledge of HTML, CSS and any front end development skills

• Human factors training, including an understanding of user-centered design and UX best practices.
