The client is a learning services and development company that focuses on "adult learning" and training people. They are looking for a Sr. Information Designer to join their team for a contract-to-hire, 40 hrs/wk onsite role at their HQ in Pleasanton, CA. ** 1-2 days of remote work a possibility for the right candidate ** RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: - Creating user-centered designs, conceptual diagrams and wireframes for web and mobile learning apps - Designing and creating the interaction flow, layouts and visuals for self-paced online courseware, performance simulations, using case-specific learning experiences and skills reinforcement interactions - Collaborating with subject matter experts at all levels of the organization to identify, validate and shape content for learner needs and help set our broader vision - Working with teams cross-functionally to expand structured, skills adoption programming consisting of stage relevant guides, knowledge checks, questioning series and scenarios - Seeking out and translating current cognitive research and brain science data to inspire and guide memorable instructional design - Incorporating usability study findings, facilitator feedback and participant evaluations to improve learning outcomes and overall efficiency MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN: - Information, Instructional, and/or Interaction Design or a similar role (i.e. Articulate Storyline application) - Exposure and/or familiarity with adult learning (i.e. memory and retention) - UX/UI design - Adobe Creative Suite - Self-managing projects and working autonomously - B2C industry NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN: - Appreciation of the cultural sensitivities inherent in a global client base, experience working internationally and/or multilingual ability - Design skills in related fields, including motion design and eLearning tools If you're interested, or know someone who is, please apply now or email me directly with your updated portfolio, annual salary rate, and availability!
