Sr Information Architect

Need a Sr Information Architect for a role onsite until end of 2016--could be extended.

Experience should demonstrate creative solutions on a various range of platforms, leadership, your ability to handle complex UX problems, and drive excellent execution.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Identify user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; studying how users consume content, including data categorization and labeling; meeting with focus groups.
• Plan component architecture by studying site concepts, strategy, and target audience; envisioning architectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design; creating user scenarios; preparing data models; designing information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation; evaluating information representation; conducting creative meetings.
• Creation of user flows, journey maps, personas and other methodologies for articulating target audience, and the ways they move through our systems.
• Generation of comprehensive and usable UI solutions to help users meet their needs that are consistent with our brand standards.
• Development of interaction prototypes, specifications and other design documents to communicate design ideas to project teams.
• Analysis of business and technical requirements.
• Lead user testing and stakeholder reviews to validate the efficacy of these solutions.
• Translate research findings into tangible designs.
• A significant contribution to, and the fostering of our design process and quality standards based on objective, data-driven evidence.
• Define UX processes that achieve both quality and rapid time to market; partner with other departments to optimize and improve efficiencies across teams.
• Development of departmental procedures to enhance team effectiveness and output.
• Coordinating with project management and design team to ensure timely delivery of design artifacts.
• Foster a collaborative, learning environment by partnering with stakeholders and facilitating design decisions to optimize for the user experience while balancing interests within technology, marketing, business, and executive partners.
• Collaborate with Brand Experience team to develop processes and systems that improve efficiencies and throughput and account for the needs of our growing business.
• Oversee the creation of strategic materials and demos to internal and external teams.
• Lead internal reviews for feature and UI design, art direction and other UX/UI responsibilities.
• Effectively collaborate to create world class, user-centric, on-brand digital experiences.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
• BA in a related field (computer science, interaction design, HCI, industrial design, information science, social sciences, graphic design, etc.) and/or equivalent years of successful work experience
• 5+ years of professional experience as an Information Architect, User Experience Architect, or Interaction Designer
