Fortune200 Financial Services company in Toronto needs a smart graphic designer who can get their hands dirty and also do production work. Deliverables will include both Print and Digital (web and email) but be more focused on digital deliverables. Sr. Graphic Designer will break files down and also be conceptual. Candidates should exhibit design shop experience, production, and an ability to concept for websites, social, banners,
Portfolio of ideas and work are required. Candidate will work closely with the Studio team and share over email, on the phone, and huddle with the team every morning. Designer should bring new ideas and refresh existing campaigns (work to include a bit more brand stuff and referral email campaigns). Work will be primarily digital but still include some print work.


Sr. Graphic designer will receive creative direction and revisions from the creative team. They will use Mac-based prepress programs to create preliminary layouts for presentation eventually produces final output ready files and folding mock-ups for transfer to the production team. We are looking for someone who is self-organized and comfortable managing deadlines and production scheduling on numerous, concurrent projects.

• Exhibits a clear understanding of: marketing objectives, production constraints and capabilities, and possesses a thorough understanding of design, layout and typography
• Provides technical direction and scheduling information to related production groups
• Perform image research when needed
• Understands PostScript troubleshooting of problem files.
• Knowledgeable about page-layout shortcuts, third-party extensions, and prepress, press and bindery issues.
• Can create multi-page die-cuts.
• Can create duotones in Photoshop.
