Position Summary: Responsible for creating highly complex web page layouts, sophisticated electronic images, advanced animated graphics with synchronized sound and page-level programming. Produces comprehensive and highly compelling user interfaces for web navigation and other multimedia presentations deployed in a variety of contexts. Offers multifaceted conceptual design solutions based on strategies in relation to customer needs. Manages and oversees complex design projects from concept through production and delivery, balancing multiple priorities and identifying resources. Serves as project manager on concurrent projects involving virtual teams and resources. Leads the team and provides growth opportunities for others.

Essential Functions of the Job: Develops leading-edge electronic designs, architecture, artwork and page-level programming for web-based and other multimedia projects. Creates compelling designs using graphics, type, color, motion, sound and user interaction. Educates others and acts as coach/peer mentor. Serves as liaison between Creative Services Group (CSG) and customer; helps select appropriate media, format and packaging. Acts as a project manager; communicates and negotiates project deadlines, project scope, cost estimates and schedule changes as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements: In-depth knowledge/experience in one or more multimedia disciplines. Proficiency with CSG multimedia loadset and proficiency with Microsoft Office and related skills. Mastery of Flash, HTML encoding, Photoshop and related web image formats. Exceptional customer service, communication and teaming skills. Understands the urgency for queries/concerns are resolved and adhere to firm policy.

Supervision Responsibilities: Mentors senior designers, and designers in developing technology and design skills, including critiquing multimedia projects and providing constructive feedback for growth and development Works independently Education: Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Web or Graphic Design and/or related discipline or equivalent work experience

Experience: Minimum of approximately 5 years of related design experience
