One of our valued clients in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Sr. Graphic Designer for a long term temporary role. 

This role is involved in a wide range of fresh, brand-consistent, integrated creative services for the company's family of brands. Efforts include internal and external communications, presentations, events, campaigns, sponsorships and promotions involving, but not limited to: print collateral, signage, digital/email communications, video, and advertising. Provides expert input and direction on client briefs by meeting with internal clients, team members, agency partners and vendors to ensure design/communication goals are met while reinforcing brand equity and integrity according to established guidelines. Executes effective, targeted, highly-creative solutions. Produces and delivers finished products on time in a fast-paced environment and within budget. Reviews creative work and provides direction to other designers to ensure brand consistency, creativity and quality across all channels.


Meet with clients to develop creative strategy and design direction for assigned projects.  Provide artistic direction, use in-depth and wide degree of design abilities to translate strategy into original/effective design elements. Present creative recommendations and rationale to clients.         

Utilize specialized, expert knowledge of design, publishing software and techniques to execute highly-creative solutions from concept to finished product. Ensure assets are prepared in a manner that facilitates successful and efficient project completion.

Work closely with Communications Project Manager in scheduling and delegation of projects among Creative Communications team, contractors and agency partners.

Steward and advance the equity of the the company's family of brands in all communications.

Research and incorporate current and emerging graphic/design industry trends and available technical resources and software. Attend continuing education and seminars as needed and provide instruction/updates for group. Make recommendations for educational opportunities that would be of value to Creative Communications team.

Secure, organize and protect digital assets through performance of timely data backup. Archive and manage digital assets to ensure ease of retrieval.

Maintain contacts for expedient access to a variety of strong photographic and graphic resources. Take leading role in selection process for proper vendors and final video, photographs, illustrations to be utilized in communication projects. Obtain and manage usage rights to photography, video and illustrations.


  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with clients to effectively meet their needs and deadlines.
  • Superior attention to detail while balancing multiple projects.
  • Able to think strategically to produce high-impact products.
  • B.F.A. in design communications or equivalent plus five to seven years of experience.
  • Online portfolio available for viewing.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office including PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) and Videography experience a plus.
