This is a temp to perm position
Our Global Fashion client is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to assist in the building and maintaining all graphic materials needed for the brands in their marketing efforts under the direction and guidance of the Art Director and Senior Creative Director.
Previous experience in fashion or clothing manufacturing, branding, marketing & packaging or product marketing is crucial. Agency background also welcome.
The right candidate should be experienced in (a must):
Developing designs for all print and promo graphics, packaging & trims, point-of-sale, e-mail blasts;
Photoshoot prepping: creative input, research and execution of the swipe boards;
Reviewing and marking up images for retouching and following through on rounds of retouching;
Preparing the graphics into press-ready mechanicals, including packaging dielines, pre-press information and color settings (advanced understanding of prepress, including dielines and color/image settings);
Juggling multiple projects and following direction with attention to detail.
Minimum 4 to 5 years of solid graphic design experience required.
Apparel industry experience preferred.
Education: BA / BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent (portfolio required).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven studio environment.
Excellent typography skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Advanced Knowledge: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, Acrobat Pro.
Knowledge of WEB design applications a plus.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
