Sr. Global Content Strategist/Writer - Chi

We have exciting openings for Global Digital Content Strategist with one of our Fortune 500 Professional Services clients in Chicago. This is a great company to be a part of and it's an exciting time to be part of their marketing strategy and global communications. They are a very collaborative and innovative group, which supports multiple lines of business. They are looking for a talented content writer who has a strategic approach to digital content to build their brand. The contract is long term with the possibility of converting the right candidate. Position sits onsite with standard business hours Monday through Friday.

Position Overview:
The Content Strategist & Writer will manage a global digital content strategy discipline, and will have the ability to write skillfully and appropriately for the different digital media of a corporate footprint: web (including mobile sites), email and social media platforms. Must demonstrate proven experience in creating content that engages. Will develop and manage cross-platform campaigns by partnering with the client, marketing and research colleagues in many countries. By developing clear campaign strategies, this individual will articulate what should be communicated, and how to express it.

• Bachelor’s degree required (education in English or Journalism helpful)

• Experience writing for mobile and tablet channels preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in developing GLOBAL content strategy, systems and specific content for websites (including mobile versions), email and social media.

• Experience in web content management.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Translate case studies, reports, all client content.

• Able to write fluently, quickly, concisely and professionally for a B2B audience.

• Strong editing skills, and mastery of editorial processes, including style guidelines.

• Practical understanding of how to further SEO goals while writing compelling headlines and copy.

• Strong curiosity about users/consumers and how to anticipate their needs by understanding behaviors.

• Ability to scope and manage work, define project schedules and manage internal stakeholders from multiple countries.

• Ability to proactively anticipate stakeholder needs and communicate creative solutions.

• Experience with a B2B brand and/or experience in a content creation role with a PR firm, agency or media outlet is preferred.
