You’re a self-starter and all-around web professional who can bring a great web experience to life in code.
Every day you will collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team to translate the client's digital marketing ideas to websites, emails, ad campaigns, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about web development technology. We’re looking for an individual with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JS (and associated libraries).
You must also demonstrate a solid foundation of progressive enrichment and collaborate with the cross-departmental team to strategically implement front-end and back-end systems. You should be eager to try out new technology while being disciplined to maintain accessibility and compatibility. You will also have an INTEREST in mobile and social technologies like iOS/Webkit, development for mobile devices (advanced CSS), Facebook integration and Wordpress.
Code digital assets for the corporate website, blog, social networks, and banner ads.
Work closely with the Marketing team to conceptualize, produce and manage multiple microsites.
Work closely with other departments to provide streamlined web solutions for a wide variety of needs.
Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market; position yourself and the company as a digital specialist.
Regularly revise and optimize our various web properties as technology and the business needs evolve.
An obvious passion for lean code that runs quickly in low-bandwidth environments.
Ability to develop cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.
Knowledge/willingness to learn about implementing and using products to improve digital marketing.
Attention to detail and deadlines, excellent communication and problem solving skills, solid technical project management skills (ie; BE SELF-MANAGED AND NOT NEED BABYSITTING).
Manage multiple mission-critical projects simultaneously in deadline-driven environment.
Minimum 3 years job experience.
