Sr. Flash Designer / Art Director

Responsibility: Taking key art and promos from Print and On-Air, and developing cohesive digital units for online and other media partners. **We’re not building sites, but rather providing the Marketing content.

Required Software Experience:

Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects (basic), AS2 (helpful)


Background:

Experience in Entertainment is preferred. Or at least an interest in the category.
Experience working with key art and doing breakdowns for a wide variety of outlets, including: house banners, social, VOD platforms, mobile, etc.
Must have a strong design sense and great typography skills. A lot of our work is for static units.
Must be willing to do Production work (ie: breakdowns, updating translations for our International partners, etc). All of our staff Art Directors do the same, including myself when necessary. We work as a close team in that way.
Should be pro-active and comfortable working with a small team. Good communication. Must be able to manage their own projects & strict/tight deadlines.
Project Examples:

Taking key art and promos from Print and On-Air, and developing cohesive digital units for online and other media partners.
Breakdowns for online, tv, mobile, social, International, etc.
Marketing Solutions / Ad Sales partnership graphics: Designing banners, headers, etc that point online visitors to sponsored sections of the site. Some units abide strictly to the brand, while others pick up from assets provided by the sponsors.
International: Our online brand is translated or adapted in the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Italy… we provide assets to those territories, most of which are based on domestic units.
