Sr. Financial Print Producer

Our large financial services client located in Minneapolis is looking for a Sr. Print Production specialist, with financial industry experience, for a 6-month contract onsite. The Print Production Artist will be responsible for managing print vendor relationships, estimating print projects using the “LogicSource” software, assisting the creatives with design to maximize print quality, providing cost estimates and timing to our Business Partners/Marketing Managers, attending press checks, finding ways to save money in print, paper costs, or postage, keeping track of inventory levels and making recommendations on reprinting. In addition, this position would be asked to keep a record of the print purchases – so that accurate reporting on print volumes and costs can be calculated.

• Collaborate with business partners and creative sources to generate superior quality on brand materials while simultaneously driving cost efficiencies.
• Responsible for executing multiple various complexity print production processes for business partners across the Enterprise to generate materials for client, prospect, advisor, and institutional business lines.
• Provide service intake to cross-organizational business partners with leadership support. Ensure paper, mock-ups, and materials meet all creative, brand and mailing requirements.
• Ensure vendors understand specifications and adhere to timing, cost, and quality requirements.
• Review press proofs and attend press checks at any time including nights and weekends.
• Provide timing, assembly, and fulfillment instructions to outside vendors. Identify, document, and process Business Transformation saves and avoids in a timely and accurate matter. This includes market pricing, standard production or mailing solutions.
• Independently manage traffic, record keeping, and reporting for all processes. Proactively manage all data from a variety of sources, ensure accuracy and appropriate financial and volume reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven ability for managing the production and distribution of financial print materials.
MUST HAVE experience in a financial services company.
• Strong Excel qualifications along with participating with our vendors, providing printing, mailing and 3rd party fulfillment.
• Provide leadership on projects from design through implementation of Financial Print.
• Responsible for managing the production and distribution of financial print materials across the enterprise (including but not limited to annuals, semi-annuals, prospectuses, shareholder mailings & SAI’s).
• Conduct analyses of materials and processes that drive re-engineering opportunities, resulting in lower cost or improved processes.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and Excel & PowerPoint skills – Visio knowledge a plus
• Own vendor relationships and provide printing, mailing and 3rd party fulfillment services to business partners.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Financial Services experience.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and/or modeling, with associated technology applications.
• Experience in analysis leadership role for medium to large-scale projects. Experience in developing risk mitigation plans in association with assigned projects Excellent communication skills that are clear and effective both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Understanding of financial print and print production (understanding of regulatory fulfillment requirements & SEC regulations a plus)
