Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is looking for an Employee Communications Manager on a 2 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing Information Technology communications to large audiences across an organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Employee Communications Manager is part of a team that provides counsel, coaching and execution support to leaders and business partners firm-wide in order to:
• Help employees understand where the company is going, why it matters, and how they contribute through a corporate narrative;
• Drive desired behaviors and business results by influencing leader, manager and employee engagement and behaviors in alignment with our values and in support of our purpose, strategy and operating priorities;
• Support a consistent and engaging employee experience across the company that makes a great place to work.

The Employee Communications Manager will partner with the Director, business partners and various members of the broader Employee Communications team to develop, implement and track the effectiveness of internal communications strategies that further organizational and company objectives.

This person supports business-unit leaders directly in a relationship management capacity as well as a project management capacity. This person develops and helps execute communication strategies with executives and other company leaders that align employees with company and business-unit vision, strategy, priorities, initiatives, and accomplishments, and that engage employees in two-way dialogue.

Communication channels include emails, presentations, high-impact employee meetings, web casts, audio and video recordings, feedback tools and internal social media.

Primary objectives of the role include:

• Align communications at the business unit-level with those at the corporate level.
• Support the employee experience through communications
• Using communications as a means of helping employees understand and engage with the organization’s goals and leaders;
• Maintaining and enhancing the reputation and credibility of company leaders, at both the corporate and business-unit levels
