A top digital agency is looking for a Sr. Email Project Manager to sit on-site at their client in Beaverton.If you are an email specialist, with experience driving, launching and project managing complex, segmented email marketing campaigns, this role is for you! Communicate with email vendor/internal partners to ensure alignment on deliverables
The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and be able to drive the production process. You will execute email campaigns and triggers, collaborate with project managers, manage multiple simultaneous projects, interface across several departments and work independently to resource and meet critical deadlines. A large part of this role is partnering with marketing & segmentation business leads during planning process to ensure production resources, timelines, efficiency and optimization are considered and carried out.
Partner with Client's Digital Tech team to drive project scoping and email development
Provide project status updates/recaps to key stakeholders
Communicate asset, proofing and approval deadlines to stakeholders, and main points of contact
Review assets, links and audience to ensure they align.
Submit assets to email vendor
Proof emails for link accuracy, tracking, and functionality
Final approver of email (with stakeholder sign-off)
Collaborate with Project Manager on maintenance of production-related tools
Connect with Digital Tech and Consumer Services on key launches
Qualifications: (ie. the "must haves") Must have a minimum of 5+ years email specific project management experience and have a clear understanding and demonstrated experience of at least one ESP platform
Strong experience in managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated understanding of email best practices including: proofing, linking, accuracy, tracking, and functionality
Experience working with Technical teams, and ability to understand how business needs and technical needs align
Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize a varied workload with multiple stakeholders
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity
Passionate about brands, digital communications and emerging technologies
Demonstrate a strong business mind-set and ambition to drive growth for both agency and partner
Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities
Proactive in touching base with partners for regular meetings, quarterly reviews, etc. Always abreast of partner budgets, plans, goals, issues/pain points, etc.
Highly articulate with excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
Dynamic and energizing with an ability to maintain optimism and a positive attitude in a challenging, fast-paced, and changing environment
Bachelor's degree required
Retail/commerce experience preferred
Ability to work off-hours as needed for launches, etc.
3+ years of project management experience
