Sr. Ecommerce Marketing Manager

The Senior Manager of e-commerce will assist in executing and developing e-Commerce strategies at the corporate and regional level to see that all electronic channels, e-Channels, search engines, social media and other e-Marketing vehicles are maximized to ensure online revenue and profitability.

Accountable for managing the entire program and result of the company e-commerce initiatives.
Create and coordinate a best-in-class user experience for consumers who shop the Ecommerce site, catalog, and via the telephone.
Experience with managing and optimizing online marketing tactics and an emphasis on efficient spending to generate high ROI.

The role of the Senior Manager, eCommerce is to respond to business needs, develop solutions to strategic questions, and drive the strategic planning process for eCommerce. The Sr. Manager will closely partner with the business to drive create collaborative, implementable solutions that drive business results. The individual will also lead the structured strategic planning and analysis behind formulating strategy and planning. Given the highly cross-functional nature of this role, the successful individual must possess strong leadership and communication skills in order to build strong ownership around the go-forward direction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and document strategic roadmap that will enable global eCommerce team to achieve its stated goals

• Lead the continuous assessment of eCommerce trends and customer requirements to influence the strategy and roadmap

• Lead cross-functional projects from ideation to delivery/execution on behalf of the ecommerce team

• Determine which best practices can be shared across platforms/geographies and enable the best practice sharing

• Develop and execute strategy to drive rapid, above-market,
profitable growth in the e-commerce channel, while achieving sales and margin objectives

• Manage the deployment of brand content, new product launches and other online merchandising activities to improve site conversion, average order size and repeat traffic.

• Create communications and presentations for Executive Leadership team that communicate the strategy, roadmap, and results.

• Profitably acquire new customers through digital advertising
and PR, social media, search engine marketing, display
advertising, and other online marketing programs

• Increase customer retention and lifetime value through
effective use of database marketing/CRM techniques and targeted email marketing.

• Lead on-line marketing to ensure content is engaging,
brand appropriate, and inspires loyalty and deeper online
customer relationships.



Qualifications

• Passion for e-Commerce a must
• Exceptional strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Strong ability to develop a vision and then collaborate broadly to get results
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate to the senior executive level
• Strong understanding of web technology, innovation and trends.
• Profound understanding of the on-line experience and the
mindset of digital uses today and tomorrow.
