Sr. Director of Digital Acquisition

Leading Digital Consumer Group is looking for a leader in Digital Acquisition to join our digital customer growth team! To be successful this position requires a proven track record in digital strategic leadership as well as subject matter expertise in digital performance marketing to meet aggressive volume and efficiency goals. 
Responsibilities: 
Accountable for delivering high value acquisition volume and efficiency targets through strategic thought leadership and seamless execution 
Ownership of performance and ROI based digital media investment decisions across full ‘funnel’ media buys, from driving awareness all the way to efficient conversion across various digital channels (Paid Search across mobile and desktop, Programmatic, Paid Social, Video, Affiliate, direct/premium buys, etc) for both mobile and desktop. 
Ownership of developing comprehensive media strategy and drive execution; including creative conceptualization, developing effective agency briefs, implementation, and optimization, as well as media mix and budget maximization 
Strong focus on innovating for and testing conversion optimization, particularly within app store(s) as well as across desktop. 
Leveraging ad tech stack capabilities to their fullest potential such audience creation, management, and activation in a DMP and other tools (e.g. Optimizely, Adobe, etc) to drive incremental qualified growth and improve conversion 
Identifying new user acquisition channels/partners and media optimization opportunities for incremental growth 
Champion of the brand and owning the full acquisition experience including how it pertains to relationships with other channels such as PR, sponsorships, on-air TV, and out-of-home 
Collaborate and ideate in partnership with Network & Distribution teams to ensure incremental and material growth to the business for digital footprint expansion 
Partner cross functionally with Product and Tech teams to continually strive for improved conversion and connecting the shopping/acquisition experience to the customer experience, a champion of a ‘retention starts at acquisition’ philosophy 
Identifying and driving the delivery of deep data driven insights that will inform future strategies, forecasting models, and driving higher quality and more persistent viewers 
Skilled and savvy at merchandizing and educating a wider internal audience on the incremental benefit of performance based digital marketing to expand the digital footprint. 
Requirements: 
+7 years of experience in a fast paced and aggressive performance based consumer ecommerce, retail or finance business. (Acquisition into mobile & digital properties is strongly desired) 
Strong blend of strategic leadership and subject matter expertise across various digital channels, including familiarity with major platforms across media buying and optimizations 
Proven track record of proposing and driving robust, large scale strategies and skilled at merchandizing plans to executive leadership as well and cascading down to a team for seamless execution 
Leadership skills in inspiring and managing small, powerful teams to meet goals in a changing and evolving environment 
Consumer marketing mindset, as well as linear media experience (Radio & TV), are a plus 
Agency management and responsibility of multi-million-dollar marketing budgets required. 
Experience in setting up and managing analytics, running ROI analyses, and A/B testing. 
Metrics driven marketer with substantial experience in mobile/app marketing and optimization, paid Search/SEM, paid social (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, twitter), programmatic display marketing, ad networks, DMPs, SEO, and testing methods. 
Digital consumer marketing experience with a focus on developing/optimizing online or mobile direct to consumer marketing programs. 
Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. 
Willing to experiment fast and change paths as needed. 
A passion for creating new ways for consumers to access and enjoy entertainment
