Sr. Digital Project Manager (Digital Design Manager)

A highly creative Fortune 500 ‘luxury brand’ financial service company is in need of a passionate contract/freelance Digital Design Manager to join their dedicated team. This role will be onsite, 40 hours a week, 6 months. The successful project you will be engaged on is a rewards program that enables customers to earn points at various retailers.

In this exciting role, you will not only manage multiple digital projects but also create project management processes in an “agile” environment. This position will collaborate closely with the product development, marketing, creative, UX, compliance and development teams on day-to-day tasks and furthering the strategy of a newly launched Retail Rewards Program.

S/he must be able to multi-task, provide status reports and communicate any potential blockers, resource challenges, and/or changes in timelines. The ideal candidate will have great verbal and written communication skills, stay on top of upcoming and in-progress tasks, and anticipate and resolve any resource or schedule conflicts. Most importantly, this valued candidate will develop new processes for the department to follow for years to come.

Responsibilities:

• S/he will provide status reports and communicate any potential blockers, resource challenges, and/or changes in timelines.
• The ideal candidate will have great verbal and written communication skills, stay on top of upcoming and in-progress tasks, and anticipate and resolve any resource or schedule conflicts.
• Create, update, and own user stories that drive forward the product strategy. Continuously monitor and support development progress and communicate via weekly status reports
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize and estimate daily tasks for weekly deployments with the online development team
• Support Senior Product Owner in delivery feature roadmap
• Create and document the delivery of digital marketing materials to support the go to market and compliance teams

Qualifications:
• Solid experience developing and managing digital projects at a large global website, including maintaining timelines and deliverables, coordinating resources, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Experience working in large matrix organizations required.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS required. Basic understanding of web analytics (Omniture and/or Google Analytics) required.
• Must have experience with agile development tools, such as Rally, JIRA or Redmine including practice of Agile / SCRUM methodology.
• Impeccable organizational skills, including creating and updating timelines, weekly status reports and other tools to make the process transparent and easy to understand for stakeholders including senior management.
• Strong time management, critical thinking and reasoning skills including the ability to prioritize and multitask, exceptional follow-through and attention to detail, and management of timelines, budgets and resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with stakeholders in order to understand their needs and transform conversations into action as it applies to changes on the website
• Passion for delivering superior digital servicing through innovative technical solutions
