Sr. Digital Marketing Manager

A small B2B digital marketing team at a F100 financial services company is looking for a senior Digital Marketing Manager for a 6-12 month consulting assignment in San Francisco (or Charlotte, NC).

Our client is seeing an experienced digital leader to determine and develop the overall digital marketing strategy and vision for their B2B marketing group, which includes building new programs, managing large integrations, and influencing the direction of existing highly complex programs with the execution assistance of e-business consultants, creative consultants and communications consultants.

You will have proven experience leading, tracking, measurement, evaluation and test and learn. The candidate strong experience in online and digital marketing (both creative and media), including email marketing, mobile marketing, social media networks, online communities, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising, and B2B corporate websites/microsites/ intranet sites. This may include interpretation of results and recommendations for change.


As their new Digital Marketing Manager, you will:
--Manage overall daily responsibilities for: Online & digital marketing (both creative & media), with a multi-media focus including but not limited to: web site management, intranet management, email marketing, mobile marketing, social media networks, online communities, search engine marketing, display and text link advertising on corporate websites and other websites.
--Manages a centralized/in-house digital marketing group and manage a departmental or program/project budget, and timelines.
--Manage marketing technology strategy and roadmap, coordinating closely with technology, sourcing and risk partners.
--Manage vendor relationships and managed resources. May identify and establish new small to mid-sized vendor relationships to meet our business objectives.
--Establish technology solutions for specific marketing needs and integration plans for technology platforms.
--Manage Wholesale security plans and adhere to company compliance, brand, and privacy regulations and policies.
--Champion of change to identify trends in digital marketing technologies and strategies and maintain open communication of business decisions/priorities.
--Manage the effectiveness of a centralized automated asset/tracking tool.
--Focus on team member development, engagement, productivity, and growth opportunities.

You’ll need:
-8+ years digital marketing experience, including online, websites, email, mobile, creative, intranet sites, and social media delivering to a business-to-business audience.
-5+ years developing strategic digital solutions to achieve business objectives resulting in an increase of revenue, brand awareness, market share and revenue.
-5+ years working with Eloqua or ExactTarget (or equivalent) email automation tool and working with Email Marketing Automation software.
-4+ year’s management experience.
-Proven experience with enhanced automation integration, web development front end coding of HTML5, advanced CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and mobile development.
-Experience with content management and web publishing platforms.

-Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills.
-Strong organizational design, project management and change management skills.
-Strong partnering skills across a spectrum of constituencies.
-Expert knowledge of online marketing tools, technology, user practices, and industry direction.
-Experience building customer loyalty within a centralized service group or agency.
-Strong experience defining site architecture, layout, and navigation in support of user-centric design strategies.
-Solid experience with large digital integrations and migration initiatives (CRM).
-Achieves various business or performance goals and KPI’s while ensuring adherence to compliance, brand, and privacy regulations and policies.
-Financial services industry (B2B) a plus.
