Sr Digital Designer/ Front End Developer

(Mid/Sr.) FE/r/Designer is strategic, articulate and extremely 

organized as well as a team player who collaborates with Creative Directors, UX & 

Design Team, Marketers, IT Developers and third parties. He/She will work within the 

Brand and Interactive style guides to produce consistently elevated experiences. The 

person in this position will partner with writer and business owners to finesse language 

and messaging points for collateral, will work with wireframes to produce high-fidelity 

visual design for digital customer experiences. 



PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions) 

• Elevated taste level and innate ability to create unique, own design elements and 

experiences, with strong typography and layout hierarchy skills 

• Solid understanding of user experience and interaction design across all digital 

platforms – how to craft an interaction that will intuitively lead a user through a 

flow. Must have a good eye for design and attention to detail 

• Business maturity: imperative to be able to takes ownership of the project and 

connect and collaborate with internal business owners and third party partners to 

produce. Works autonomously yet connectedly 

• Understands the big picture and what needs to be done to get the job 

accomplished against tight timelines 

• Willingness to listen to constructive criticism and make changes according to 

feedback delivered by marketing, business owners and creative directors 

• Ability to employ critical thinking and sound judgment when making decisions 

about visual design

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

1. Collaborates closely with business partners to elevate digital cross-channel 

guest experiences on site, mobile and app platforms 

2. Works within predetermined as well as newly created templates to design 

landing page experiences 

3. Very experienced with Adaptive and Responsive design 

4. Solid Mobile App Design experience is a must for positions focused on Mobile 

App Design 

5. Experience with Augmented Reality a plus 

6. Touch Screen Kiosk experience a plus 

7. Perform quality assurance testing on existing and new features 

8. Participate in design and code reviews 

9. Front-End Development skills a plus - Code and construct interfaces and 

page templates using HTML, CSS and JavaScript 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• A Developer/Designer responsible for both back-end and front-end 

development, including creating custom templates and pages. This position 

requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and 

JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, 

the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong 

understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience 

with responsive and adaptive design is required. Also, an understanding of the 

entire web development process, including design, development, and 

deployment is preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design 

• 5+ years Mid, 8+ Sr. years experience interactive and visual design for 

marketing, and/or advertising projects
