Sr. Digital Art Director/Creative Supervisor

The SENIOR DIGITAL ART DIRECTOR/CREATIVE SUPERVISOR is responsible for the conceptual development and execution of artistic/creative concepts for websites, microsites, emails, banner ads, integrated direct marketing campaigns, mobile web and community/social network applications. The Senior Digital Art Director/Creative Supervisor takes a key leadership role for online creative look-and-feel by concepting, developing, and leading a strategic and sustainable aesthetic that supports client business goals, ROI, and brand strategy.

POSITION PURPOSE
This purpose of the Senior Digital Art Director/Creative Supervisor role is to ensure successful digital strategies are recommend and executed to help meet client goals. The Senior Digital Art Director/Creative Supervisor will also play a key role in the vision, definition and execution of new digital concepts, features and functionality, and approaches.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work from a creative brief or with a creative team to concept and execute.
• Drive look-and-feel of website efforts, online products, and other interactive initiatives.
• Create original graphics and icons for use on websites and other projects.
• Define and implement web design parameters, style guides, and visual standards.
• Establish and produce graphic material for use in online advertising and promotion of nonprofit services and products.
• Build strong collaborative decisions using diagrams and text.
• Document designs and creations.
• Direct and mentor the design of other websites.
• Oversee work of other designers and outside contractors.
• Ensure online branding consistent with multiple channels (TV, print, radio, etc.) and where necessary translate offline brands online.
• Elevate customer engagement and interaction online.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will need to have a degree in a related field, such as graphic design, media design, interactive design, advertising
• Must have 5-10 yr experience developing and providing direction for interactive digital projects.
• Must have extensive e-commerce design experience and testing experience.
• Must have user interface design experience- landing pages, email, website, banners, mobile
• Must have 3+ years experience managing a team.
• This person must possess a profoundly elegant and clean graphic aesthetic grounded in creativity, originality, and sound interactive design principles. The Senior Digital Art Director/Creative Supervisor must possess a highly-evolved knowledge of leading-edge, forward-thinking Internet trends that can be applied to current and future work. In addition, this position will partner with the Director of Digital Production in the development of up-front strategy-based roadmaps and informed analytics.
• Experience creating wireframes and site maps.
• Direct response marketing, print experience highly preferred.
• Non profit experience a plus.
• Digital strategy development a plus.

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Sr/Jr. Graphic Designers, Director of Digital Production & Online Producers, Project Managers, Client Services, SVP, Executive Creative Director
