This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, and the hiring manager is looking to get someone started ASAP. Candidates need to be able to start within a very short timeframe after accepting an offer.

Overview:
Develops and manages the global creative direction for digital and plays an active role as creative partner to art director counterparts. Art directing AORs or other creative partners on the digital vision.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish digital brand guidelines and continually update guidelines to coincide with major brand shifts or seasonal requirements
- Ensure a strong, recognizable and relevant visual look for the brand is communicated and executed across all digital marketing touch points and is consistent with the brand identity across all other mediums
- Based on VP of Creative Services vision, develops set of consistent and comprehensive digital brand standards and production guidelines which will exist as internal marketing communication tools for a variety of content producer audiences
- Collaborates with creative partners to develop concepts and strategic ideas that can be effectively executed across seasonal campaigns or directives, within digital channels
- Effectively communicates and informs creative partners on digital processes, technologies, trends, and potential opportunities to define and execute digital brand vision
- Directly oversees and manages Graphic Designer, Digital in the execution of digital design comps and communication documents
- Demonstrates global cultural awareness with regard to content crossing global borders and leverages consultant resources, as required
- Develops and delivers in-store and online marketing and promotional materials (includes E-commerce, social, digital, CRM, mobile and various media platforms)
- Ensure an accurate and consistent digital brand vision across multiple campaigns, multiple channels and multiple segments/verticals
- Actively participates in departmental team status and provide direction and insights for assigned projects
- Partner with creative project management to maintain scope of work

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (13+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in online art direction or design to include retail and digital brand experience working with a youth oriented brand or product
- 8 years related experience, including supervision and management
- Strong understanding of the online web development process, digital/video file format standards, browser compatibility, and function of UX/wirefames and information architecture
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), with in depth knowledge of a variety of digital and video/motion tools and production technologies, including: Flash/Actionscript, HTML/HTML5/CSS, Javascript, Mobile/iPad, e-commerce, and social media platforms
- Experienced presenting work in a meeting environment to top level executives Skilled developing original content including the selection of words and pictures for a variety of audiences in a broad range of output mediums
- Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently under multiple, occasionally competing deadlines
- Creative thinker who can provide a solid portfolio of creative ideas
- Expert understanding of digital marketing technologies and how these tactics can be extended to in-store retail and other cross-channel environments
- Understand how social media can be used to cultivate a brand visions/voice experience
- Familiarity with video/motion graphics production and storytelling within digital video channels
- Advertising agency experience a plus
- Retail experience a plus

- Flexible in responding to changes in business priorities
- Use visual and creative sensibilities to translate creative concepts into materials for the internal and external consumer
- Up to 15% travel requirements
