One of our awesome clients is looking for a Senior Designer/Art Director that requires a strong design background along with the ability to articulate your creative point of view. You’ll bring a level of craft and originality to our social, digital and brand marketing.
You’ll work closely with the Acquisition, Communication and Lifecycle teams within Marketing. You’ll review work and mentor a junior designer and front-end developer as needed. You’ll frequently collaborate with creatives within the product design discipline. You will present concepts internally to multiple stakeholders. This position reports to the Studio Manager.

About you:
You have a strong design background and seasoned art director skills. You have an appreciation for the clean, approachable aesthetic of our clients brand. You know what else you have? Imagination. You know how to push awesome oddball ideas through a strategy sieve and make them work. You’ve had some big wins. Yet you’ve never lost sight of the fact that design is not an individual sport–your proudest champagne-worthy moments have been those you’ve shared with others.

What you’ll do all day:

  • Art direct and design beautiful stuff, of varied types, sizes, complexity and lifespan, and mostly for the digital realm.
  • Collaborate with partners to map out the timeline and create all the assets to support full campaigns and experiences.
  • Work closely with creatives in other areas of the company to gather feedback and collectively critique, strengthen and evolve the visual brand.
  • Provide directional feedback and guidance as needed on projects produced by the studio; partner with Creative Director to ensure overall alignment with the visual style.
  • Be a steward of the brand experience; enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Tap metrics and data to inform future design so that creativity and efficacy walk hand-in-hand.

  • We’d like to see:
  • A portfolio that reflects exceptional strength and passion for digital, a diversity of styles and experience across channels and mediums.
  • Ability to design for a range of brand experience, advertising and marketing objectives.
  • Ongoing advertising work on behalf of a single brand that expresses the brand in fresh ways while maintaining overall consistency.
  • Progressive responsibility providing guidance, direction and oversight/mentorship of others.
  • A sense of curiosity–you stay up to date on the latest design best practices and various platforms.
  • Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; experience with responsive layouts, animation, etc.
