Seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a 90 day contract to hire. The candidate must have a keen eye for emerging design trends and extreme attention to detail. They must be well versed in industry standards of print and digital design. Under general direction from the Art Director and Creative Directors you will develop and design the aesthetics for Products and Membership clients. Some of the elements you will create visual design and layout for include conceptual, branding, complex artwork for social media campaigns, merchandise, apparel and POS. In addition, you will work independently and as part of a larger team to develop marketing materials and packaging to enhance brand image (B2B & B2C). You will collaborate with project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly-organized, and able to work both independently and in a team environment. As a senior position, this candidate should embrace new design trends, while also being able to work within the confines of existing brands and guidelines. Applicants should have at least 7 years experience with a design agency or production team. This position requires you to have excellent design skills, be able to communicate ideas and persuade others to see your vision. It will be imperative that you enjoy collaboration will other designer personalities. If you feel you can work with little direction, lead thoughtful discussions about design with your team, and contribute to the design portion of a project, then this is the position for you.

Job responsibilities include:
Solid experience with brand, editorial design and some digital or social design
Solid understanding of print and digital design principles
Responsible for the execution and delivery of creative design deliverables.
Confidently articulate how the design solution meets the clients’ needs and business goals
Accountable for the production of high-quality, award-winning, innovative design
Work on multiple tasks and manage priorities.
Make recommendations for scalable solutions for short and long term problems.
Work closely with the team and others to adjust design based on feedback.

Minimum Requirements
7+ years of on the job experience with examples
Preferred experience in creative agency, or production team
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
Experience with conceptual design as well as tactical
General understanding of the business and our clients, and their value in the design process
