Sr Designer

Acts in a lead role in developing and building strong creative and conceptual design to be implemented

throughout a variety of applications for the retail environment. Partners with the brands, Copywriters and

Designers to develop creative that can be measured against the delivered strategies. Senior designers

ensure that the creative is breakthrough to our customers, shapes a consistent brand image and meets

the brand expectations. Partners with the Copywriter and oversees design team to implement creative

solutions for applications included but not limited to signage, newspaper advertising, interactive, direct

marketing, press kits and other collateral projects, from inception through finished Mac art including art

direction and collaboration with photographers on photo shoots. Oversees, trains and evaluates

performance of Designers to do breakthrough work that meets the strategies, budgets, deadlines in order

to impacts sales.


Develops, in concert with the Copywriters and Designers, breakthrough concepts and designs

that drives traffic to the stores. Establishes the brand look and tone for implementing across

applications (i.e. signage, interactive, newspaper, etc.). Partners with Creative Service

Managers, Designers, Mac Team, Art Buyers, traffic, production, and media to ensure

consistency.

Works with the team to implement designs for application including but not limited to

signage, interactive, newspaper advertising, direct marketing, press kits and other collateral

projects, from inception through finished Mac art including art direction and collaboration with

photographers on photo shoots. Ensures the professional and technical development of staff.

Oversees photo shoots and supports other members of the Creative Services Department.
