A global law firm is seeking a Senior Designer to work within the brand team being responsible for advising, supporting and applying the brand and corporate visual identity, across all channels, globally. Overseeing the artistic design/development of marketing and promotional materials including online and print advertisements, collateral materials, branded items, stands, proposal and presentation templates, online marketing initiatives, new media applications and internal applications.

This is a contract-to-hire, onsite in San Francisco. Starting as soon as the right person is found.

Responsibilities:
• Advises the internal client (lawyers, leadership, marketing/business development, support services, third parties) on the correct application of the firm's brand and corporate visual identity
• Acts as brand ambassador across all channels
• Manages the design, layout and print production of firmwide collateral working closely with other senior members of the global creative team and the Global Brand Director. Including, but not limited to: brochures, newsletters, invitations, web pages, advertisements and other new media initiatives
• Works closely with the Global Brand Director on the on-going development and refinement of the firmwide design process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products, focusing on a quality product and level of service
• Oversees workflow and delivery of all creative projects allocated to the European-based creative team
• Responsible for working closely with internal clients to obtain and translate marketing objectives and campaigns into a creative execution
• Advises and supports the other Europe-based designer on work allocation, process best practice and application of brand/corporate identity, meeting demanding timelines
• Working with other senior designers, manages transition of work across time zones to meet deadlines
• Manages artwork and best placement of branding on promotional items
• Maintains and updates the brand guidelines on an ongoing basis
• Builds and maintains trusted advisor relationships with lawyers, staff, agencies, photographers and other external third party suppliers
• Prioritises activity to ensure the most effective contribution to overall business objectives
• Manages all administration, reporting and invoicing related to firmwide design activity produced in the European region
