Sr. Designer

A Sr. Graphic Designer you would work with the graphics team to handle in-house graphic design projects as directed by the graphic design manager. A person in this role will support our client
by working on a wide variety of marketing and company graphic design projects including, but not limited to, presentations, photo shoots, tradeshow graphics, retail graphics, catalog design, packaging, event graphics, swag, artwork, and collateral piece design.

Essential Functions:

  • Handle projects briefed in my members of the marketing team and the organization.
  • Works with the graphics team marketing coordinator on scheduling and completing design round reviews and interacts with other members of the team by gathering feedback on their
    graphic projects from project stakeholders.
  • Sees all types of graphic projects through from concept design to production.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of graphic projects to ensure final graphics are delivered on time, on budget and in a manner that represents the clients brand authentically.
  • Assists the marketing team in various ad hoc projects and brainstorming sessions.

  • What it will require:

  • Graphic Design degree from an accredited university.
  • At least four - six years of experience working in the field of graphic design on all stages of design from concept through pre-press and production.
  • In-house creative department, footwear and/or outdoor industry experience a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with primary focus on Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Entourage, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Skilled in proofing and press checking.
  • Experience on studio and location photo shoots.
  • Ability to work in a creative group, collaborate and take creative direction.
  • Works well within a team and independently.
  • Self-motivated, shows initiative and is a quick learner.
  • Must possess enthusiasm for helping on all aspects of marketing and graphic design projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skill set.
  • Demonstrated creative judgment and design sensibility.
  • Skilled in Adobe interactive programs such as Adobe Edge and Adobe Muse a plus.
    Keynote, iMovie and other presentation or video programs a plus.
  • Experience with 3D rendering, motion graphics or working with video a plus.
